MedHermes launches Forentum, the elongated industrial tomato

MedHermes has entered the field of processed tomatoes and is seeking to conquer new international markets: “In 2023, we will enter the industrial tomato sector with Forentum, an elongated variety of red tomato, which our associates in Campania are working on to create a peeled commercial version, and we’ll target new markets,” said manager Alfredo Amoroso. In order to face the challenge of penetrating large markets, MedHermes will complete its investment plan for new infrastructure in 2023, which includes a new warehouse in Ragusa and a 500m sq packaging centre, as well as the extension of the firm’s experimental farm station.
