Boix Maquinaria will be present at Fruit Logistica

Boix Maquinaria, the leading company in manufacturing machines for forming, erecting and folding corrugated and/or compact cardboard boxes, will participate, once again, in the 28th edition of the Fruit Logistica Berlin 2020 fair, the largest international stage for fresh produce in the world. From 5 to 7 February 2020, all the news on our range of products will be presented in Berlin, as well as the innovative solutions for functions and applications in the fruit and vegetable sector.

Fruit Logistica Berlin 2020 is one of the most important events for Boix Maquinaria because it is considered to be the meeting place for all the protagonists of the fruit industry. In addition to a shopping centre, it is a source of new ideas and inspiration from the cardboard and packaging sector.

Boix Maquinaria will present to the whole fruit and vegetable supply chain its global solutions and services for the formation of boxes in corrugated and/or compact cardboard, together with its new developments in machines and technologies based on their constant improvement of performance in speed, flexibility, connectivity, and reliability, as well as countless new features in applications for the fruit and vegetable sector.

In the last edition, Fruit Logistica welcomed more than 78,000 visitors from 135 countries and 3,200 exhibitors from 90 countries. Boix Maquinaria’s mission is to be prepared this year to provide the best service to companies that want to capitalize on that great growth, especially in Europe. Despite considerable growth in China, India, and the USA, the six main European markets (Germany, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, France, Russia, and Belgium) continue to exercise their dominant position among the ten main fruit-importing countries in the world. Meanwhile, the growth prospects for vegetables in Europe are also considerable, particularly driven by consumer trends based on health and comfort.
