The PMA Fresh Summit to be held in person in New Orleans
The Produce Marketing Association (PMA) has announced that the 72nd edition of the Fresh Summit fair will take place in person on October 28, 29 and 30 at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center in New Orleans, Louisiana. Attendees will be protected by an extensive series of security measures. Some of the modifications that have already been made include strategies to control crowd density to allow for safe and socially distanced interactions, including expanded room sizes, the widening of main hallways, and more. PMA executive director Cathy Burns said:
“We all had that moment in the last year where we thought things would never be the same again”, adding that she hopes to “welcome the industry in person to grow a healthier world, which is especially powerful and essential in these times.”
