Pink Lady® focuses on supply-chain sustainability

This year, Pink Lady® is concentrating on its supply chain via a “Charter of commitments” signed by all the relevant players. Specifically, this involves the implementation of cardboard packaging to eliminate the use of single-use plastic in this campaign, as well as Pink Lab, a start-up incubator for devising sustainable solutions and improving production. Added to this is Bee Pink, a programme for preserving pollinators, particularly bees, as well as the return of Adopt a Tree, which allows consumers to adopt a Pink Lady® apple tree and then go apple-picking in the autumn, the Pink Chefs culinary challenge and, last but not least, the new Pink Lady® loyalty club.
