ZUMEX® presents the new Speed programme to customise your juice corner

ZUMEX® presents the new Speed programme to customise your juice corner

The firm is a strategic partner and a world leader and innovator in the juice business, introducing new ways to design the best juice corner for each space or store

Once again, the firm has anticipated the needs of the most demanding retailers, hoteliers and restaurant owners and, for the first time is offering a customised configuration of the Speed series, its flagship range of juicers catering for high juice demands.

Customers can choose between wide or narrow podiums and two different finishes, the sleek Black or the sophisticated stainless steel Mirror finish, for the Speed Up and Speed S+plus models.

The company has also presented a new range of accessories, such as the new bottle rack unit and a set of safety and hygiene accessories, which create a better equipped juice corner and increase the freshly squeezed juice options available in the store.

The demand for freshly squeezed juice is increasing by 5% every year, with orange juice continuing to lead the market with 46%* of world consumption. Thus, the sale of freshly squeezed juice is already a high-value service for all types of stores. These stores look to ZUMEX® Group, a world leader in the design and manufacture of exclusive juicing technologies for almost 35 years, as their strategic partner in the development of their businesses. To keep abreast with demand and developments in 2019, the company is launching its new Speed programme to make it easier for its customers to configure and tailor their entire juice corner.

Retailers, hotels and the restaurant sector, as well as other businesses with high juice demands, can now customise the Speed S+plus and Speed Up models, two of the products in one of the most powerful series on the market, to create the juice corner that best adapts to their space, reflects the atmosphere of their store, and provides an environment that their customers enjoy. The fact is that the needs of each business vary according to the number of users, the daily demand for juice and how the juicing technology is integrated into the store, among other factors.

This is why ZUMEX® has once again gone the extra mile and now proposes tailor-made solutions that can be complemented by a broad range of accessories to design highly attractive, efficient self-service juice corners. This world of opportunities that aims to give juice corners a highly impressive appearance was presented to the main players in the HORECA sector at the Sirha international trade fair held recently in Lyon.

Design your very own juice corner

Whether you choose the Speed S+plus equipment, the top-of-the-range machine with the greatest number of features, or the Speed Up, the ideal and boldest companion for the evolution of your business in the world of juice, the Speed programme offers two styles and two podium sizes:

Narrow or Wide podium according to the space available. The narrow 70 cm podium optimises every inch of space and has one waste bucket for up to 55 litres or 25 kg. The wide 80 cm podium has two waste buckets which increase its capacity up to 100 litres or 40 kg of waste.

Black or Mirror finish to fit in with your store’s environment. The Black finish brings a sleek sophisticated look whilst the Mirror finish offers an elegant and shiny stainless steel look, including a two-position drip tray for glasses and bottles.

Once you have chosen the equipment you need, you can complete your juice corner with additional functional accessories, such as the bottle rack unit with storage space, which is ideal for organising the corner and facilitating self-service in the store, the bottle rack for self-service contexts, or the display cabinet, which keeps the bottles of freshly squeezed juice chilled and ready to go.

The safest and most hygienic juice corner

As if that weren’t enough, the company’s engineering team has also developed a series of new protection accessories that facilitate the hygiene and safety of self-service juice corners and include:

Cover to close the orange feeding basket

Feeder cover

Pulp Cover Kit to hide the pulp and maintain the attractive appearance of the machine at all times

Speed display cover to restrict access to the juicer’s electronic settings

Discover all the Speed options to grow your business and offer your customers a unique experience. All you need is juice!

ZUMEX champions the juice culture in Asia

Zumex

The Spanish firm, with its presence in leading retailers in South Korea, China and Japan, continues to grow in the Asian market, strengthening its position with its juice extraction solutions in major hotel chains and shopping centres, too

  • E-mart, Home Plus Tesco, BHG Market Place, Sofitel or Holiday Inn Hotels & Resorts are just a few of the leading brands in their segments that already have the Spanish firm’s innovative juice solutions
  • Solutions such as the Multifruit multijuicer or the Mastery cold press machine are reaping great success as they adapt perfectly to the preferences of the Asian multifruit juice market as opposed to single-flavour juice
  • Further, to continue its growth and penetration into the Asian continent, the multinational has reinforced its team with the addition of Andres Hernando as Market Development Manager APAC (Asia-Pacific).

“Asia is a market with enormous potential to exploit and at ZUMEX®, as leaders and experts in the juice business, we have the capacity as well as experience spanning more than 30 years to continue to grow and provide the differential value, rigor and quality demanded by major brands in Asia-Pacific”, highlights the company’s CEO, Victor Bertolin.

An ambitious challenge for which the ZUMEX® Group, world leaders in the design and manufacture of innovative solutions for extracting fruit and vegetable juice, has reinforced its team with the addition of Andres Hernando as Market Development Manager APAC (Asia-Pacific). Hernando, a specialist in International Marketing, with a Master’s degree in Commercial Management from ESIC, will contribute with his knowledge about the Asian market and will spearhead the company’s penetration into this continent thanks to his professional experience as Export Area Manager in Asia-Pacific for the Spanish ceramics company, Gresmanc.

A consolidated presence, as ZUMEX® has an extensive and powerful portfolio of customers including major retailers such as BHG Market Place in China, E-mart and Home Plus Tesco in South Korea, or AEON and Life Corporation in Japan. All of them are leading flagships that have committed to the advice and different technologies of the Spanish brand, such as Essential Pro, due to its functionality and easy use, or the Versatile Pro Podium, prefect to create juice corners.

Both solutions which, together with Speed S+plus, have also conquered the breakfast menu buffets of hotel chains such as Sofitel, Holiday Inn Hotel & Resorts or Marriott, present in the main cosmopolitan cities of Asian countries that demand maximum innovation and design for all their spaces.

Solutions for the Asian multifruit tastes

ZUMEX® has the juicing and multijuicing solutions to champion the juice culture in Asia, as they adapt to the consumption habits and tastes of Asian people who prefer combined fruit juices rather than single-flavour juices. Hence, the increase in the demand for the Multifruit multijuicer, the most advanced on the market and perfect to extract maximum juice from any fruit or vegetable, which is already triumphing in juice bars such as Jamba Juice.

In addition, the freshly bottled natural juice trend is now firmly established in this market so Mastery, the cold press high quality juice extraction technology from the firm’s Juice Tech line, emerges as the best option for brands that choose this type of business. A cold press machine that permits maintaining the original properties of fruit and vegetables, very much in line with the healthy eating tendencies demanded on a global level.

ZUMEX® Group, leading strategic partner for juice business development and world leader in the design and manufacture of fruit and vegetable juicing solutions for more than three decades, is present in more than 100 countries through a wide network of distributors and its five subsidiaries (USA, Mexico, United Kingdom, France and Germany), supporting its headquarters in Spain (Moncada-Valencia).

  • The firm, immersed in the projection of facilities for the new company headquarters, has increased its financing of RDI by almost 37%, reaching 1.3 million euros

The Spanish multinational ZUMEX® Group, strategic partner for the development of the juice business and world leader in the design and manufacture of innovative solutions for fruit and vegetable juicing, continues its unstoppable international expansion and has closed a very successful financial year with a turnover of 35 million euros and 35% growth in 2017. These figures endorse its position of leadership in markets such as the U.K., where the firm has had a subsidiary since 2014, and has an important portfolio of customers such as large retailers of the country including Marks & Spencers and Tesco.

“It is fundamentally important for us to continue with our international leadership, since already around 90% of our production is exported to more than 100 countries across the five continents. For this reason, at ZUMEX® we continue to strengthen our presence in strategic markets by means of our own delegations, as is the case with the United Kingdom, allowing us to accompany our customers as they develop their juice business,” states Víctor Bertolín, general manager of ZUMEX® Group.

This is a year in which the company has taken important decisions such as the opening of the fifth ZUMEX® subsidiary, located in Germany and recently inaugurated. An ambitious project which will allow it to continue its penetration into Germany, where it already has some of the best retailers and foodservice chains of the country, to add to those already consolidated in the United Kingdom, France, the United States and Mexico.

Moreover, in 2017, the company has been able to boost even more spaces that intensify outstanding growth by the firm, making a clear commitment to the juice culture, such as the USA, the Middle East, Asia and Oceania. And not only in the HORECA channel, ZUMEX®’s traditional ally for development: the brand’s fruit and vegetable juicing machines are now present in the main large-scale distribution chains and in highly affluent public and private spaces, such as airports, sports facilities and large office centres.

New headquarters

The firm, immersed in the projection of facilities for the new company headquarters, has increased its financing of RDI by almost 37%, reaching 1.3 million euros. The philosophy is clear, just as the management indicates, “we differentiate ourselves by the high quality and design of our developments. We are used to trend setting and the market expects this of us. This is the road we have trodden since the beginning and along which we will continue, exactly as shown by our latest launches.”

The positioning of the company as leading strategic partner in juice development demonstrates this commitment. “We have been researching and analysing juice consumers’ trends and needs all over the world for years. This allows us to offer our customers an integral service, going from conceptualisation of the spaces, to paying for the equipment in instalments, and even collaboration in the design of profitability plans,” Bertolín himself points out.

As such, the versatility of series such as Speed Pro, Minex, Essential, and specific developments such as Mastery and SOUL, demonstrate ZUMEX®’s commitment to meet its customers’ needs. A commitment which even includes the personalisation of certain juicing solutions for large purchases.

The company has included outstanding national and international projects in its different divisions as part of its strategic plans as leader in the juice sector. The firm aims to promote the transformation of the world’s eating habits by design and innovation, taking people’s nutritional well-being to the next level through the generation of new trends within the healthy eating current.
