SanLucar prepares for the stone fruit campaign
Spanish-based global operator SanLucar offers a range of over 100 delicious fruits and vegetables from more than 35 countries. SanLucar is the brand with the widest assortment of premium quality in the German, Austrian and Dutch retail markets. With regard to coming stone fruit campaign, the company notes several challenges facing the sector. Firstly, the weather could impact harvest quality and volumes. Secondly, rising production costs could affect price levels. However, Andrés Olivares, stone fruit product manager stresses that SanLucar’s strength lies in its long-standing relationships with its expert farmers, whose tenacity and efforts will ensure that customers are provided with top-quality produce. SanLucar’s portfolio also includes smoothies, fresh cuts, flowers and plants, as well as ice cream.
Currently, SanLucar is expanding in Canada, Italy, the UK, Scandinavia, Poland, Ecuador, the Middle East and North Africa.
