For the first time in the Spanish market, a guacamole has received the distinction “Flavour of the Year”, which recognises the products chosen by choose as favourites. Obtaining this seal means undergoing a complete organoleptic tasting carried out by a panel of regular consumers of the product. The characteristics of the product from the Alicante company were its flavour, aroma, texture. This recipe, recently launched and already on sale on the shelves of Consum and Unide, complements the company’s range of guacamoles. A signature recipe with an intense flavour made it possible to differentiate the Bonnysa guacamole from other options.
Bonnysa started with the line of guacamoles in 2017 as a result of its experience in the intermediation of tropical fruits and its know-how in the convenience range, which it started in 2006 with fresh grated tomato.
Jorge I. Brotóns, marketing manager of Bonnysa, said, “This distinction reinforces all the work that the company is carrying out around the convenience range, which already account for 20% of our turnover. For our entire team, it is undoubtedly recognition of their work and encourages us to continue developing new products, such as the recently launched Artichoke Dip and Fiesta Mexicana, which are working very well under these premises.”
