Strong interest of international groups for new CIV apple Varieties & Selections

New Indian partner I.G. International meets the International Licensees of the Modì® brand apple in Berlin

The 2018 Berlin Fruit Logistica Exhibition’s Feedback has been very positive for CIV – the Consorzio Italiano Vivaisti located in San Giuseppe in Comacchio-Italy.  At the Exhibition CIV booth, the Chairman Tagliani, Director Eugenio Bolognesi, Variety Manager Marco Bertolazzi and Management Assistant Elena Piccoli met numerous international operators interested in the latest CIV innovations regarding eco-sustainable apples, pears and strawberries with low environmental impact.

“In this regard – CIV Chairman Pier Filippo Tagliani explained – we recorded a concrete expression of interest for the Civg198pvr/Modi® Trademark apple from some Extra-UE operators as well as for some new apple varieties and/or selections developed by our Varietal Innovation Centre from certain important international Groups with whom we are now jointly defining the most appropriate development methods to finalize the related strategic operational Partnership/Cooperation Agreements.”

During the fifth Modi® Apple International Meeting organized by CIV, owner of the Civg198pvr apple variety patent and of the Modì® brand with which it is marketed around the world, All the International Licensees met in order to develop the Modì® brand and to share the best practices in marketing and production technologies in complete respect for environmental sustainability.

A very warm welcome has been extended by all Modì® apple International Licensees (Europe, Turkey, Serbia, United States, Australia, Uruguay, Chile and New Zealand) to the new Indian commercial partner I.G. INTERNATIONAL Pvt Ltd, whose Managing Director dr. Tarun Arora was present at the meeting in Berlin, where he spoke about the recently-signed agreement with CIV and the relative launch and development plan of the Modìciv™ brand on the Indian market. “This commercial Partnership – explained the CIV Chairman Pier Filippo Tagliani – foresees for 2018 a supply-programme shared between several International Licensees (i.e.: Europe, Turkey, Australia, Chile, and others) and a targeted programme of Promo-Communication Initiatives and Marketing Events to properly support the Modìciv™ brand within the Indian territory with the main local Retail chains (i.e.: Reliance and Tesco, amongst others)”.
