Founded in 1980, Pannitteri & C. Is a family firm that specialises in growing oranges and was behind the creation of the Rosaria producer organisation in 2008.

With increased production thanks to new plantings and an expansion of the surface area cultivated near Catania, and with the strength of the Rosaria brand and the Sicilian Red Orange PGI, the Italian company Pannitteri aims to conquer new markets such as central Europe, Slovenia, Denmark and Finland.

Chairman Aurelio Pannitteri explained:

“In these markets, red oranges with a strong brand such as ours are in particular demand. This year, thanks to the good harvest and the trees we planted seven years ago, after having overcome the tristeza virus, to replace the diseased trees, we will finally have a big enough crop to satisfy the demands of both our traditional customers and new ones.”
