WUWM Abu Dhabi 2022 to focus on food security
The topic of food security has never been more relevant. Global food supply chains have been severely disrupted by the COVID-19 pandemic, geopolitical conflicts and ongoing challenges linked to climate change, among a myriad of other diverse factors. There is no question that an urgent and coordinated response is required to address the existential threats facing global food systems, to build more sustainable and resilient fresh food supply chains.
AD Ports Group is delighted to host this year’s WUWM Abu Dhabi 2022, the World Union of Wholesale Market’s annual conference, taking place 19th – 21st October at Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre, where these issues will be presented and discussed by international senior industry experts, under the theme “Global food security in the XXXIs: Risks, challenges and solutions to ensure resilient and sustainable fresh food supply chains”.
