World Food Moscow to present Russia’s gastronomic offering

Russia’s largest autumn food exhibition World Food Moscow will take place in September from 21st to 24th at the Crocus Expo IEC. This year’s exhibition will feature the 15 traditional segments. The business programme’s events, held on each day of the exhibition, will see the participation of food industry experts. Ivan Fedyakov (INFOLine), Svetlana Bobrova (Nielsen IQ), Ekaterina Tretyakova (Euromonitor International) will present market analysis at the Food Business Leaders Forum. Retail trends will be discussed by leading chain managers, Jan Dunning (Magnit), Vladislav Kurbatov (Perekrestok), Vladimir Sorokin (Slow), Martin Schumacher (Metro), Sergey Leonov (Good Choice), Olga Naumova (Eastern Union), Evgeny Rimsky (VkusVill), Armin Burger (Okay), and Konstantin Kuguchin (Auchan Retail). Sergey Goncharov, CEO of Pyaterochka, will answer questions on stage in an interview format. Asan Kurmanguzhin (SberMarket) and Maxim Grishakov (Yandex. Market) will take part in the plenary debate on e-commerce. Within the framework of the WorldFood Retail Academy, there will also be events dedicated to “Fresh Vegetables and Fruits”, “Fish and Seafood”, and “Confectionery”. On the third day of the expo, the award ceremonies for the WorldFood Organic and Product of the Year competitions will take place. And on the last day, a pitching session will be held for foodtech start-ups. It is set to be a truly special event for the food service sector.
