The European Art of Taste project boosts Italian kiwifruit in Asia

Despite weather problems limiting production, Mediterranean kiwi fruit continues to be appreciated all over the world thanks to its superior quality and taste. Funded by the EU, CSO Italy, and leading Italian companies, the European Art of Taste project is now helping to promote the fruit among consumers in China, Japan, Hong Kong and Taiwan. Yellow kiwi is increasingly appreciated across the world, with Italian production area growing by 23% in 2020 compared to the previous year, with output reaching over 75,000 tons.
