Due to the ongoing pandemic, the Sival 2022 Plant Production Fair has been put back from January 11, 12 and 13 to March 15 to 17. The event will still be held at the Angers Exhibition Centre.
As a statement by the fair organisers explained:
“France, like many countries, is facing a new wave of Covid-19, reinforced by the meteoric expansion of the Omicron variant. This deteriorating health situation has an impact on economic players. Faced with the peak of contamination, many exhibitors expressed their concern about the difficulty of mobilising visitors in these circumstances. In this context, to guarantee everyone’s safety and ensure exhibitors and partners to optimise their participation, Christophe Béchu, mayor of Angers, Mathilde Favre d’Anne, president of Destination Angers, and Bruno Dupont, president of Sival, have made the decision to postpone the next edition of Sival to March.”
