Bringing together about 3,100 companies from 86 countries to exhibit under one roof, Fruit Logistica kicks off tomorrow in Berlin.

What will be the  25th anniversary of this annual event– billed as one of the world’s top fresh produce trade fairs – is expected to draw over 70,000 trade visitors from more than 130 countries.

Running February 8-10 at Messe Berlin, the 2017 edition features Germany as the official partner country.

Messe Berlin GmbH CEO Dr. Christian Göke said Fruit Logistica was launched in 1993 in response to industry and attracted 100 exhibitors in that first year.

“In 2017, for the first time, the number of exhibitors will top the 3,000 mark.

“As a leading global trade fair, Fruit Logistica is a don’t-miss event for players across the entire value chain. Not only does the trade fair offer outstanding business opportunities, it has also gained a solid reputation as a platform for information and innovations,” he said.
