After the acquisition of the citrus exporter LimounaSouss last season, representing more than 800 ha of citrus, the Lymouna-Matysha group continues to expand its citrus business, investing in nearly 100 ha of new greenhouses for the next season.

The goal is to continue to raise its production of tomatoes and diversify its supply of vegetables with courgettes, cantaloupe melons, peppers and watermelons in particular.

“We aim to reach 80,000 tons in exports next year.”

This season, nearly 35,000 tons of vegetables and 30,000 tons of citrus have been sold. Innovative varieties are also part of the group’s strategy, such as a new variety of extra-late clementines for harvest from late April to late May.
