The famous “Pink Tide” returns to the streets of 8 Spanish cities participating in the “Women’s Race”, the non-competitive solidarity race. This year’s event is once again supported by Marlene®, the brand that for more than 25 years has distinguished the apples of Alto Adige/Südtirol, marketed by the VOG Consortium.
The first stages took place in the cities of Valencia (September 11), Vitoria-Gasteiz (September 19), A Coruña (October 17), Madrid (October 24), Zaragoza (November 7) and Barcelona (November 21). The next appointments for the runners will be in Seville (November 28) and Gijón (December 12). In this edition it is also possible to participate virtually by downloading the official app of the race.
“We are one of the historical sponsors of this event, to which we are very close, sharing values and objectives”, comments Hannes Tauber, marketing manager of the VOG Consortium. “We are glad that this year’s Race could be held in person again. Without a doubt, it is a special edition, under the motto “restarting and resilience”. As the chosen slogan attests, “For all of us” means in particular for the women who participate in the Women’s Race each year.”
During the course of each race, Marlene® is present with various promotional materials, such as inflatable goal arches, flags and banners. But in addition, the participants, both those in the face-to-face modality and those of the virtual option, receive a useful fitness elastic band, a brochure with physical exercises included in the welcome bag, and a Marlene® apple. Finally, at the next race in Seville, as was the case in Madrid and Barcelona, Marlene® will also be present with its own information stand, where gadgets and blue-label apples will be distributed.
