Despite producing many other fresh products, the Italian family-run business La Costiera is well-known for its premium Sorrento lemons that are exported mainly to Europe (UK, Germany, Switzerland, and the Netherlands), as well as to Dubai. Lately, the firm has been working on a series of projects, with great results in its organic line. La Costiera has also updated all of its certifications, including GGN GRASP, BRC, IFS, GLOBALG.A.P., and BioAgri Cert, and it has obtained Smeta certification for the UK market. Meanwhile, La Costiera is also investing in technology to improve its packaging and has introduced a new logo. In addition to Sorrento lemons, La Costiera produces a wide range of other fruits like citrons, bergamot, Messina PGI lemons and other varieties, available all year round.
