IAG Cargo restarts services to Asia from London Heathrow

Fri 30/09/2022 by Gloria Zorrilla
IAG Cargo was created following the merger of British Airways World Cargo and Iberia Cargo in April 2011, which came after the integration of Aer Lingus, Vueling and BMI.

IAG Cargo has restarted its cargo-only services on routes between London Heathrow and Hong Kong and between London Heathrow and Bangkok, as consumers continue to enjoy online shopping. Flights run daily between London Heathrow and Hong Kong and four times a week between London Heathrow and Bangkok. The flights will be serviced by B787-9 aircraft, moving essential e-commerce goods, pharmaceuticals and perishables. Daniel Byrne, regional commercial manager UK and Ireland at IAG Cargo, said:

“With summer shaping up to be a busy period for IAG Cargo and our customers, this airbridge is vital for the movement of e-commerce and perishable foodstuffs, which are in high demand throughout the year.”
