Benlai Life Group owns the fresh B2C e-commerce platform benlailife.com, the community fresh food chain store Benlai Fresh and the supply chain Benlai Fruit Store. Thanks to its supply chain advantages, Benlai Life network serves corporations as well as ordinary consumers. Benlai Fresh has 200 directly operated stores and 10,000 stores in cities such as Wuhan, Chengdu, Changsha, Zhengzhou, Tianjin and Shanghai. At present, Benlai Life Network provides users with 17 categories and over 24,000 high-quality products to choose from. Fresh food accounts for about 60% of total sales.

Benlai Fresh: a fast-growing retail business model

The Benlai Fresh chain of community fresh food stores allows community residents to buy fresh products near their homes, and ensures that each online order is delivered within 30 minutes of placement. In addition to directly operating chain stores, Benlai Fresh also actively explores the empowerment model for other fresh food retailers to harness the advantages of its agricultural product supply chain.

Blueberries and kiwis show highest growth

In 2021, blueberries had the highest sales growth in the fruit category of Life.com, with Driscoll’s Big Mac blueberry performing the strongest. In the first half of 2022, New Zealand’s Zespri red kiwifruit and the Yunnan blueberry sold by Benlai Life proved most popular among users.
