Asfertglobal increases its sales volume by 38%, focusing mainly on the emerging markets of Eastern Europe, Central America and the United States.
The Portuguese multinational, dedicated to the development and commercialization of biofertilizers, biostimulants and biocontrol products, closed 2021 with a 38% increase in sales compared to 2020, an increase that is even more significant considering the socioeconomic context we are going through due to the widespread shortage in the supply of raw materials and the crisis generated by the global pandemic.
During 2021, Asfertglobal strengthened its position on the international scene with the opening of its third subsidiary in Mexico and its entry into key global agricultural markets such as Eastern European countries, Central America and the United States.
This growth was also the result of an increased demand for biological and residue-free solutions and the evolution and research capacity of Asfertglobal which, in partnership with the Faculty of Science of the University of Lisbon, develops innovative and technological solutions that help to practice a more sustainable, greener and more consistent agriculture, with zero impact on the environment.
An agriculture that relies on science to ensure not only productivity, but also the values of biodiversity and the preservation of natural resources.
