“In recent years, we have introduced new native varieties characterised by their sweet taste, low acidity, size, resistance to ripening, productivity and tolerance to rain damage. We believe that sustainable agriculture must start from the base by using plants originating in our territory,” said director Mauro Laghi. The production calendar reaches its peak in July and August, months in which the climate has become extremely favorable. The constantly changing international scenario has also pushed the company to look beyond varietal change by investing in the Ondine® project, the commercial brand of a new series of high-quality flat nectarines with an intense red colour. These fruits will be available from late June until early September.
