FRUIT 2050 – a new event for fruit production at SIVAL

Fruit 2050 is a brand-new event taking place in the heart of the SIVAL agricultural trade show from 16th to 18th January in the Parc des Expositions d’Angers (Angers Exhibition Centre). Dedicated to professionals in the European fruit industry, this forward-looking meeting will address the challenges of the fruit production of tomorrow, via three key events.

VEGEPOLYS GIS FRUITS – SYMPOSIUM (Tuesday 16th 14.30-17.30)

A group of will firstly display various new techniques to improve resource management for water, soil, carbon and farm inputs. A panel discussion will follow between researchers, manufacturers, experimenters and producers.

INTERFEL – PUBLIC DEBATE (Tuesday 16th 19.00)

This evening event is open to the public, and will welcome purchasing advisors and influencers to discuss food and the environment. After the debate there will be a cocktail and dinner reception, based on fruit and vegetables.

Ctifl – FRUIT PRODUCTION FORUM (Wednesday 9.30-12.30)

Organised by Ctifl, the Fruit Production Forum is designed with farmers in mind. The programme includes an overview of strategic approaches for farmers and a presentation of future scenarios for the industry.
