Hinojosa and Lactips develop plastic-free packaging solutions for food

The transparent cellular polypropylene containers remain waterproof and 100% recyclable, but also allow an excellent view of the interior product.

Visitors to Fruit Attraction 2018 were very excited about this innovation by Cipasi.

The Freshbox® family continues to grow. Cipasi has expanded its offer of packaging solutions for this system with the transparent Freshbox®. These polypropylene containers maintain all the advantages of the system with the added value of providing a perfect interior view of the product. The innovation was presented to the agricultural sector at the latest edition of Fruit Attraction.

The new transparent Freshbox®, fruit of the R + D + i of Cipasi, gives practical answers to the needs of the customers. Like the other products of this system, it is 100% recyclable and reusable, customisable, resistant to water and suitable for contact with food.

Some of the advantages of the Freshbox® for the agricultural sector include the possibility of product packaging in the field and sending directly to the customer; it is suitable for containing crops such as asparagus with wet foam, wet aromatic herbs or vegetables with ice or ice water; and it facilitates the processes of washing and disinfecting food.

Cipasi’s packaging solutions complete Hinojosa’s portfolio of specialised products for the agricultural sector. Its line of packaging solution is 100% sustainable and comes with the UNIQ Agricultural Quality Seal. They include dishes for fruits and vegetables (S33mx, S23, K33) and Dailybox®, an easy-to-use, recyclable and sustainable corrugated cardboard packaging solution that is designed to facilitate shopping in supermarkets and stores and home delivery.
