Agricoper is currently focused on expanding its activity to the Middle East and US and steps will be taken in this direction soon.

For several years now, major Italian leader Agricoper’s strongest efforts have focused on diversifying its varietal supply. In fact, the firm is the exclusive licensee for several table grapes varieties from major international breeders.

“We think that it is now necessary to test and introduce new varieties if we want to continue to play a primary role in an increasingly competitive and demanding market, by giving the consumer the opportunity to live new taste and sensory experiences. This is our mission and our daily challenge,” said Gianny Liturri, Agricoper’s general manager.

The company is currently focused on expanding its activity to the Middle East and US and steps will be taken in this direction soon.

The ancient family tradition of Agricoper began in 1938 in Apulia, the heel of Italy’s boot, where the first vineyards were planted, just a few kilometres from the sea. The new production plant extension now covers a surface of 20,000 square metres, of which 6,600 are covered, equipped with innovative and efficient packing lines, a pre-cooling refrigeration system and spacious cold stores. Still under the watchful eye of Gianni Liturri Senior, an experienced entrepreneur and innovator and truly passionate about table grapes, the company is now being managed by the third-generation of the Liturri family. Their core values are innovation, quality excellence and research by following tradition.
